Caribou County Commissioners are being proactive as our communities continue to plan and prepare for the Covid-19 Coronavirus. The following are some measures that have taken place.

The Caribou County Commissioners are holding weekly conference calls with all the Cities and  School Districts in Caribou County as well as Caribou Memorial Hospital. These calls are taking place on Mondays from 9:00-9:30 AM. This is an effort to collaborate and strategize for our communities at this interesting and challenging time with Covid-19. Working together brings a collective effort that will hopefully help protect our Communities from the worst of this pandemic.

Caribou County continues to be an essential service and open for many of your needs. The Commissioners have authorized County Departments to work remotely as they deem necessary to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and still offer essential services from the County. Some of the office's have gone to working remotely partially or entirely. You can still call the courthouse at 208-547-4324 and select the department you wish to reach. If no one answers leave a message and your call will be followed up with shortly. The departments are checking their voicemails several times a day remotely and will follow up with you in a timely manner. Additionally the Sheriff's Office remains open and you can reach them by calling 208-547-2561 and the Caribou County Extension office  as well, their number is 208-547-3205. It is strongly encouraged you call in advance as there is restricted access at all County facilities and by appointment only.

We are proud of the measures being taken in our community to help protect and provide for one another! Together as a collective we make a difference and everyone's efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you for doing your part!
