Whether you are a homeowner, contractor, realtor, appraiser, or developer, we serve all of the residents of Caribou County by managing its growth in a responsible and sustainable way. Our department is made up of two divisions: Building and Planning & Zoning. 
Our Building Division receives and reviews building permits applications, additions, shops, remodels, agricultural structures, and other projects, plans, and provides building inspections on each structure to ensure Caribou County residents are safe in any building they walk into is safe.
Our Planning & Zoning division processes land use applications in unincorporated Caribou County. They plan for Caribou County's future by creating our Comprehensive Plan and working with other agencies on various long range growth projects.
